Dr. Jeanne Marie Lovett, MD

Dr. Lovett was my kids pediatrician since they were born. Unfortunately I`ve lost my trust to her opinion. her comments are very unprofessional, her approach to a parent isn`t the most pleasant, I refused a flu shot even though never refused any other vaccine and Dr. Lovett made a comment to me " well if they get a flu and survive..." this made me very anxious. She was my kids primary care physician since they were born and without my consent my kids have been removed from her list. also when my kids have had a cough for almost 2 months I asked Dr. Lovett to do an x-ray. since it was the beginning of pandemic, I was really scared, I cried in the office and she made a comment " I don't think it's a cancer" these words scared me even more, she said it before the x-ray, she had no lab work done. a year before that one of her colleagueDr. Arkema misdiagnosed my child pneumonia and this is why I asked for an x-ray to be sure the lungs were clear. unprofessional approach,not friendly. avoid

After meeting Dr. Lovett for the first time, my kids were skipping out of her office, they were so happy! She is truly a compassionate, intelligent physician who respects my kids for the people that they are. The way she speaks to my kids, she really shows them that she cares and listens to them, and she gives them great advice about healthy living. She is awesome in every way, and we are so happy to have her be our pediatrician.

My son who had just started college came home from winter break with a terrible sore throat. We went to a walk in clinic and they thought it was mono. Made an appointment with Dr Lovett and she was able to see him the within a few days. By this time he was exhausted and his throat hurt him terribly. The first thing she said to him (she would not look at me) when she walked in the room was "look, how sweet, you brought your mommy with you". I let her know that i came with because it is hard for him to swallow because his throat hurts so much. She let me know that if he can't swallow then we should be going directly to the emergency room. She made me feel like I needed to defend myself for accompanying my son to his doctor appointment. There was no way he could drive himself in the condition he was in. Plus it also happened to be his birthday that day. We were both so taken aback by her attitude and lack of compassion. For regular appointments my son does go on his own but this was… different. She is very condescending and cold. I would not recommend her for high school or teenage kids.
