Dr. Jeanne Marie Oliva, MD

Dr. Oliva was my primary care physician during a time I was waiting for a highly recommended MD within the same practice to accept new patients. Over my 50+ years I’ve seen many physicians, yet I have never encountered one less suited to care for people than Oliva. On my first appointment she was 45 minutes late, unapologetic, unprepared and questioned my every response. I was raised to respect professionals in the medical field, but by the end of my second appointment, I had endured enough. I kept my composure and calmly told her I would not tolerate further disrespect and advised she change her attitude. Oddly enough this seemed to please her and I clearly recall it being the only time I ever saw her smile.

Dr. Oliva is dismissive, condescending and she does not respect her patients time. She did not make me feel cared for or comfortable and I left her office in tears. The staff is rude, makes patients feel like they’re imposing with questions and concerns. The staff seems actually annoyed to have to do their job. I told a colleague I was seeing Dr. Oliva and she recommended I cancel my appointment and find someone else - I should have listened. It was a waste of time.

HAD A WALK IN WITH OLIVA. TRIED TO TELL HER MY THOUGHTS AND SHE WAS VERY DISMISSIVE. DIDNT LISTEN TO HER PAITIENT AT ALL. WAS VERY CONDESENDING. WONT BE SEEING HER AGAIN.

Dr Oliva is always behind schedule. I generally leave after one hour. I decided to wait out the last visit and complain straight to her face that her scheduling was inadequate. She told me I was free to find another doctor if I was unhappy with this practice! Such callous disregard for patients is unacceptable to me.

I definitely don't agree with the reviews given to Dr. Oliva. I have found her to follow up with me better than any other doctor I have ever had. If I don't go for my lab work I get a requisition in the mail and a call from her medical assistant- she is taking good care of me and I get the impression she really cares!!

The wait is ridiculous! Not only in the waiting room but as well in the exam room. Great with solving the health issues and if she cant she gets you the best doctors. Other than that, the staff is rude as well.

Office staff is a nightmare --totally disorganized. Waited on the phone 45 minutes for office person to get back to me . I could only put l hour in the survey as to wait at the office, but it is well over an hour wait ---every time! You have to plan on about two hours . Every time I complain , you get no response . I no longer will go to her

you have to wait HOURS AND HOURS . She never returns calls and never read a report of a test I had done until I called her . Then it took her two weeks to call me back after constant calls to her office. I would never recommend her to anyone

doesnt get back to with results of test, doesnt return calls, wait in office over an 1 hour, misdiagnos symptoms of stroke, sent my husband to eye doctor

Dr. Oliva told me I had a basal cell carcinoma on my face and that I needed to see a dermatologist; she said her staff would set up the appointment. I waited 2 weeks for them to call, and when I called her office, it took four phone calls and another THREE WEEKS
