I have brought my children here for over 10 yrs and never had a problem with the practice until recently when my children had a simple filling done and when I recieved the bill the charges, I stated they were off key. When I called to question the itemized billing, I was told on a few of the charges that they were not neccessary charges, but was what their practice did eventhough they knew that most insurance companies would not honor or pay for the specific charges. When I asked why did they not discuss with me before doing the work, the reply was that most of our patients never look at the bill, they just pay. When I refused to pay for the charges that were not necessary or authorized, they sent me to a collections agency and now we are disputing with them. Not a good visit. I wonder how many other bills I have paid over the years that were not warranted. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my children back to their practice in the future.
