Dr. Jeanne Tung, MD

I found Dr. Tung to be very dismissive. It’s been a couple of years since the appt and I’ve thought about it often. From the moment we arrived she seemed almost annoyed that we were there. Dismissed my child’s issues as behavioral, told us so verbatim. We left feeling ashamed and doubting my own nurse’s intuition and mother’s intuition. We’ve JUST NOW sought another GI (because we thought it was behavioral) and - no surprise - many significant abnormalities in my child with a known neuromuscular disorder. The work up that Dr. Tung didn’t offer was a no brainer for the current GI, he offered it right away. I am so sad that my child had 2 years of continued suffering. This is just my personal experience, from one appointment. But it definitely had a lasting effect on my family.

We did not have a positive experience with Dr. Tung. She was condescending, dismissive, and she misdiagnosed my child. Fortunately, my daughter was referred to a new gastroenterologist who listened, ran the appropriate tests, and correctly diagnosed her. The only thing Dr. Tung did for us was waste our time.

Dr Tung is an amazing pediatric gastroenterologist.

I have great respect for her. She diagnosed and treated my IBD and was available to us at any time.

I was sent to the mayo clinic in rochester to have an appointment with Dr. Tung. I had test done and she diagnosed me with IBD. She is very nice and helpful. I recomend her as a doctor.

Dr Tung has been by far the best doctor that my child has ever been treated by. She is a fabulous person & has a wonderful bed-side manner. I would recommend this doctor to anyone with a child who has any type of IBD.
