Jeannie Merrick

If I could leave 0 stars I would. If you are a female in your twenties or younger, do NOT visit Jeannie Merrick. She is very insensitive. She "tells" you what she's "going" to do, rather than asking if it's ok/if it's what you want. She was my doctor for multiple years and on every visit, I left shaking and on edge. Not to mention she talks down on Planned Parenthood which is where I receive all my birth control help.

I was a patient of Jeannie Merrick for 2.5 years. I was not impressed with her care. She was insensitive in regard to sensitive subjects, and she gave me inaccurate information about the medication that I was prescribed by another provider. She was also very late to appointment and got my chart mixed up with another patient. I do not recommend this provider. A physician in a different location has given me much more accurate and sensitive care.

Worst medical provider I have ever seen. She does not listen, remember, or read patient charts carefully. Lack of communication between her and her assistant. Always running late (often by an hour or more). When I was unhappy with a plan of care, she *threatened* me with a hysterectomy - if I did not follow her advice, that was the only other option. (Not true! As verified by other doctors I am now seeing. And if it was the right next step, taking it from a place of FEAR is not helpful.) Painful ultrasound, painful IUD placement. All around terrible experience. So glad I left.
