Waited 45 mins. to see Dr. Bayasi Assistant came in she had me repeat all the answers to all the questions I had just filled out on the forms as she typed them into the computer.What was the point of me filling out the forms? I think they don't even read them. Dr. came in he didn't listen to my chest or anything.He was arrogant, didn't listen to anything I was trying to tell him.I'm on oxygen, meds and 3 inhalers, he asked what made be think I had COPD? Had a breathing test.He came back in and said "yup full blown COPD" like he had just made a big diagnosis.He told me to stop doing some of my inhalers, gave me some new samples to try and to do more exercise. I'm almost 80 yrs.old use a walker, oxygen and had hip replacement a few months ago. I don't feel very confident going to him.Will be looking for a new Dr.

Dr. Bayasi went over everything with me about my condition. As soon as my CT results were in he called me that same day! He is very patient and took time with me. His 2 office staff girls are wonderful!

I do not recommend this doctor. I am looking for a new pulmonologist. He does not really listen to you. He is arrogant and says some idiotic nutty things. I've disgussed his behavior and his diagnosis/treatment of my asthma with my OB and PCP. They agree he's "off and weird.". I feel my asthma has gotten worse because he is not treating it properly. I went to see him because my asthma has been getting worse and I had not found a new lung doctoe yet. He recommended I stop taking one of my inhalers and said eventually he wants to lower the dose of my other one. Does this make sense? I would thing if your medications were not controlling a chronic health problem then the doses need to be increased or try a different medication.

Dr. Bayasi is very intellegent and personable. He is friendly and easy to talk to. He vows to find your problem and to treat it.

When I saw this Dr., he seemed concerned and seemed to know what he was doing. However, he was not concerned enough to contact me for a follow up with the results of my CT scan. On my own, I had to have the comparison of prior tests and the current test done. He still has not contacted me after he received those results. I have changed to a new pulmonologist.
