Dr. Jed Scott Shapiro, MD

First time seeing this doctor at the Wyomissing location, the office staff barely seems to know what is going on. They don't acknowledge that you , then cut you off in the middle of speaking with you and start speaking Spanish to there other workers about you. Some people understand Spanish and speak it. Then after being taken back by some person who is not wearing professional clothing (street clothes), doesn't identify herself and starts asking personal questions about history. Then after waiting over a hour and half the doctor finally sees me and that is not very informative. Overall the the office staff is unprofessional and the doctor is satisfactory.

My Atty highly recommended I see Dr. Shapiro for a back injury. Just by reading my MRI, he came up with a more accurate diagnosis (which another local practice I was going to did not do). His chairside manner is both sympathetic and empathetic. He and his staff is very cordial and friendly. Like your extended family. I've been seeing him now for several months and have yet to be disappointed. The other doctors are also very nice also especially Dr. Holding. I would recommend this Dr.to all who needs pain management. Kudos to a job well done Dr. Shapiro, Associates and staff.
