After an event free surgery to correct a minor hernia a few years ago, I began to feel pain of various levels in the groin area where the Surgeon had placed a mesh... The Surgeon who soon after went into retirement ignored my complaints and I was left to deal with various medical services in and around Fort Myers. None came up with a viable solution. I'll skip the details... By early summer 2018 the symptoms had gotten somewhat worse, now affecting a quad from the thigh almost to the knee. Biking had become pretty much out of question. In my frustration I returned to the office of a doctor in Bonita Springs where I had previously been received by a Nurse... There I was directed towards Dr. J. Pierrilus who was doing a replacement stint. What a difference a doctor can make..! For her it seemed a no-brainer. She referred me to a Lee County Physical Therapy facility where an expert therapist doctor saw to it that I would undergo the right treat-ment for what was diagnosed as scar… tissue buildup which had to be broken up. Not only did it work, it improved my situation rather fast. I am without pain now and physically active as an otherwise healthy 70+year young can be... Thank You and "cheers"..!

I just had my 2nd appointment with Dr. Pierrilus and I am thrilled and unhappy. She is so thorough, pleasant, and approachable. My unhappiness is because she was a temporary Doctor visiting the West Coast and she is heading back to the East Coast in a couple of weeks. I had to put this review on since I was so impressed with her. She took her time explaining test results, gave me a plan on what I could do to improve my health, and was so pleasant. I would be thrilled to find another Doctor in Southwest Florida, just like her.
