Dr. Jeffrey William Farmer, MD

Dr. Farmer saw me for an infected finger that I had been treating for a few days. It didn't seem to be getting better so I decided to go to the ER. Dr. Farmer took one look at my finger and immediately indicated his concerns and ordered CT scan and xrays. He feared some bad things but was very reassuring that they would figure out what was going on and treat it accordingly. My experience with Dr. Farmer was exceptional. He was prompt, decisive, followed strict protocol, reassuring, and gave a general feeling that he really cared for me. It is rare these days to feel as though you are being treated not just as a patient but also a person. He order IV antibiotics for me and watched me for 6 hours. I ended up being able to be prescribed oral antibiotics and left the hospital with a script and strict instructions to go to an ID doctor that Dr. Farmer recommended. He also told me if I could not get an appt that next day to come back to the ER so he could see how I was progressing. It is… never fun to have to go to the ER but my experience this time was a very good one. I would recommend being treated by Dr. Farmer if it is possible
