Horrible doctor. Extremely biased. Makes false claims about patients. Doesn't listen, and is not open minded. He is right and knows all, patient knows nothing. That is his belief. Tried putting me on a new med. Made my symptoms worse. He claimed it wasn't because of the med. Thinks everyone is bipolar. Won't have an appointment without someone else being in the room with him. On a telehealth appointment. That makes me uncomfortable, thus making it difficult to say what's going on with me. I requested to switch to another psychiatrist within this establishment, and was denied. Major power trip on his end. Yes, this is identical to the previous rating! But there's a reason...it sounded identical to our situation!! A 14 year old family member ended up there, had her diagnosed & said she needed 2 meds...this was after talking to no one but the child! Not her school, her pediatrician, her family!!! She did have a serious episode, it was her 1st one ever!! As soon as we said we wanted to… talk more with everyone else in her life. Figure out to cause of the situation. Get a second opinion before we heavily medicate her, her totally belittled us!! Told us we didn't care about her! That we weren't taking the situation seriously! Then, with in 5 minutes, ran & told the child that ther parents we being different & irrational! Told her she had to leave if she wasnt being medicated! Then, processed to mock the parents throughout the next couple days to the child!! & from there, we heard nothing more from Pembroke hospital!! We called, left messages, & no call back! NO talk about aftercare plan!! NOTHING!! Total joke!! Stay away if possible!

I think t dr palacious was a god-send to my child. My child is finally back to himself after many years of being sick with no help from any other md he has ever seen. I would recommend this wonderful md to anyone who is not getting help from their own doctor. Just amazing and professional man. He uses less meds as possible. My son is now living a productive, happy life. Thank you Dr. Palacious!!!!!!!!!!!! d

Dr. P took care of our son last year and the medications he recommended have helped our son stay out of the hospital and actually return to college. Dr. P explains things so well that we were able to trust him and based on the results it has paid off. He really knows what he is doing and he keeps patients in the hospital until they are well, not just better. He took the extra effort to go to court to have our son committed so that he could have more time to stabilize in the hospital. Most other doctors we dealt with in the past could not be bothered to go to court because it was inconvenient for them. I can't understand the negative reviews. All I know is that if you have a family member who is not getting better and is constantly in an out of the hospital, I would highly recommend Dr. Palacios at Pembroke Hospital. He is caring and will do everything he can until your relative is well regardless of pressures from insurance companies.

He is fair and cares about his patients. Forget about trying to scam some drugs from him because he can see through the B.S. He helped me stay sober because he believed in me.
