Dr. Jeff Smith

Jeffrey Stephen Smith, DDS
Post Graduate
Dr. Smith began his practice of Dentistry as a solo practitioner in 1984 in Stone Mountain, Georgia . He later combined his dental practice with another dentist for several years. For a period of time, Dr. Smith joined a large dental clinic but later felt that this was not the style of patient care that he enjoyed. In March of 1996 he became part of the Atlanta Dental Group and we are very proud to have him as part of our patient care team.
Dr. Smith is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry.
Dental School
Dr. Smith graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1983. He was a member of the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity and in 1981 while in dental school he married his wife, Wanda.
University
Dr. Smith received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Florida, Gainesville in 1978 .He was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity and of the Pre-dental Society.
High School
Dr. Smith was not only an …outstanding student in high school but he graduated third in his Fort Lauderdale High School class of 1975. He was an active marching band member and played the saxophone, although Dr. S can also play the guitar. He was chosen for and participated in the Broward All County Band for four years. He was a member of the Latin Club and the Progressive Music Club.
More Information
Dr. Smith has been married for sixteen years to his wife, Wanda, and they have a lovely daughter named Emily Louise. He plays the saxophone in the Seed and Feed Marching Abominable Band which performs at various neighborhood and charity events. He likes cars and all kinds of music especially jazz and classical. Dr. Smith is an avid gardener and plants a vegetable garden each year in addition to personally doing his own landscaping. He enjoys cooking and was even employed as a professional cook with IHOP while in high school.
