Dr. Jeff David Whitfield, MD

Absolutely horrible experience with dr Whitefield. I lost my left kidney because of his ignorance, professionalism. After endless surgeries, agonizing pain, constant nausea,vomiting, high blood pressure, tissues blocked my left greater and kidney simply was dying, when I did raised questions about possible complications dr. Whitefield simply dismissed all of it. I went to Vanderbilt to visit dr.Herrelll he ordered kidney function test and several additional tests. Results were absolutely devastating 11 percents. He did try to save my kidney, but it was too late. Wish never contact dr. Whitefield.

I have been trying to get an much needed appointment with this dr for three days they put you on hold or an answering service then says they will call you back which they never do! What kind of doctor is this that charges $2.00 for them to call you back??? I am going to see about finding another specialist his office staff are terrible...

My wife and I are 41, newly married, and would like to have children. We were concerned when we did not get pregnant after a year. I saw Dr. Whitfield and was tested to see if I was capable of having children. The clinic that did the test (separate from Dr. Whitfield's office) said the test results are ready the same day. I called Dr. Whitfield's office that afternoon, they put me on hold and ended up hanging up on me. I called 3 more times. They disconnected me every time. So I waited for them to call me with the results. Two weeks later with absolutely no word from them, I called their office. They said everyone in the office was too busy to talk. I called later, but I was told the ENTIRE STAFF was on a 2-hour lunch break! I called the following day, was placed on hold, and they hung up on me again! I called one more time and was told their was no one in the office that day excecpt the receptionist taking my call. To this day, I don't know if I can have children. DO NOT see this… urologist because they will take your money but not give you ANY RESULTS!!!
