Dr. Jeffrey Carl Windschitl, MD

During my visit, I experienced concerning and dismissive behavior from a nurse. When I attempted to explain my eye symptoms, I was repeatedly cut off and spoken to in a way that felt condescending. After my MRI, I reported difficulty breathing and swallowing. When I raised this concern, the nurse responded by asking, “What do you want me to do?” rather than assessing the situation appropriately. He has so many bad reviews like why is this man still working with patients lol.

My experience left me very angry and I regret that I did not file a complaint at the time. Now, years later I am sharing my visit details. He was rude throughout the entire visit. While trying to explain my symptoms he would cut me off and in an angry voice dismiss what I was saying. At one point he said “This isn’t adding up!” I was stunned at his refusal to take in what I was telling him and try to be of assistance. He ordered many tests, chest x rays and even a CT scan of my head. In the end it was an allergic reaction to lidocaine that was given in a prior procedure. It is alarming that as an ER Dr. he was not able to recognize the symptoms of an allergic reaction and put me through all that testing. With his rude and disrespectful treatment and inability to diagnose a basic medical emergency, I will refuse to be seen by him in the future.

This doctor was extremely rude with horrible bedside manner. He made me feel as though I had no reason to be seen, or that I was over reacting. He made me feel as though my daughter and I were an inconvenience and he was very short and seemed quite judgmental. In addition, the recommendations he was providing were unclear. Not to mention, I heard the way he was speaking to another patient just down the hall, who was non-english speaking. He was speaking loudly and demeaning towards her; so loud, in fact, that I could tell you exactly why that patient was being seen. To me, that is a violation of privacy. I would not recommend this doctor, extremely rude and dismissive.

Missed key diagnosis. Didn't follow through on my referral. It was obvious he didn't believe my symptoms. My GP saw the same test results he did and knew right away it was my gall bladder. He was rude and dismissive. Would not recommend him.
