My experience at this location has been nothing but horrible. I went in for my confirmed 12:15 appointment. When I tried to check in I was told that my appointment was a 2:30 and that the "doctor" was at lunch. I left and came back 2 hours later. I was checked in and then I waited in the lobby for 15 minutes. I was taken back to an exam room and someone helped me out there. She ran some eye tests and dilated my eyes. She left me in the bright room for almost an hour while I waited on the optometrist. I met with Jefferey Lane for less than 10 minutes, where none of my concerns or requests were listened to. He walked me out to the contact lens department, which is the first time I had heard about his "prescription." The most expensive daily contact available on the market. Surprisingly the other two patients in the contact lens department also had trials of this brand of contacts. I feel that a good sales rep must have left them with a bunch of trials. It was my request to be placed… into a set of monthly contacts and instead I was given a prescription for dailies. As a matter of fact I brought my request for a different brand of contact, IN WRITING at the time of my appointment. It wasn't like I was being timid and I forgot to mention it to the doctor. It was IN WRITING. A few days later I called to request that a prescription of the monthly i had requested from the optometrist be written. I was told that request would require another visit to the optometrist. Well, I will be making another trip to an optometrist. It just won't be Texan Eye ever again.
