Dr. Jeffery Lee Pierson, MD

I am a patient of Dr. Pierson and have had no problems with my Right hip replacement since 2011. My follow up visits with the NP and staff is always pleasant and professional, love this group.

No flexibility with patient

Very personable but extremely focused surgeon. He has the very highest standards for himself and his well trained team. Extremely well regarded by other doctors, his record speaks for itself. It was a privilege to have been treated by Dr. Pierson.

Dr. Pierson might have some gold stars and made the patients he has selected happy. However, he has a very slim selection process that he will not take anyone that would jeopardize his profession. So thats how he gets his success rate. Treated rudely and very unprofessional. Forget about going to this doctor if you are overweight or have other health issues. He won't waste his time on you. He won't chance jeopardizing his reputation. Cares more about his reputation than helping the patient themselves. Don't waste your time on this guy unless you have perfect health and weight and he knows at the end it is going to turn out as a win for him.

After enduring significant hip pain for over a year, I went to Dr. Pierson who was highly recommended. From the get go, his staff seemed unprofessional and not well trained. There were issues with my records and with my appointments. I overlooked it for the most part because I was told he was the best. He said it was too early for surgery. Another year passed and my pain level increased 100%, so I called his office again and requested an appointment to discuss possible hip replacement. When I spoke to his nurse, she was downright rude. There was no compassion or understanding and she basically did not even listen to what I was telling her. When she piped up and told me I needed to lose weight, that was the last straw for me. First of all, I spoke to her over the phone so she had no way of knowing if I had lost weight. Second, regardless, it was absolutely rude, unprofessional and inappropriate for her to make that comment to me. As a result, I will NOT be going back to… him. I will find an office where they care about the patients and treat us with respect and consideration.

The best surgeon I've seen in Indiana. My hip is so much better now. Thank you doctor Pierson.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Pierson and his staff throughout the process of having a hip replacement. Their level of professionalism and caring was exeptional.

Dr. Pierson wants his patients to have a better quality of life he is efficent and direct he does not try to sugar coat things he is to the point and honest and I found his skill the best of any Dr that tried to help me. If you have a hip issues he is the best.

Could not recommend this office although I believe the doctor has good skills. Office nurse and case manager very difficult people to deal with and office staff contradicted each other. I feel the office staff is vital in helping patients. I did not find this with this office.

Would recommend highly to anyone that wants/needs to have hip or knee replaced. His practice is a well oiled machine and I have been taken care of on every level. Great outcome because of a great doctor!!
