First visit and last. I was made to wait 2 hours and they would have made me wait longer had I not cancelled and walked out. This doctor is definitely not one I would recommend.

I was so surprised to see the negative remarks about Dr. Gamber. My experience with him has brought me physical and mental relief. He is to the point, very knowledgeable, gives me time when I know he is busy and even running behind. He was great in explaining my bladder issues to me and my husband and exactly what he would be doing in surgery. He doesn't have the personality of 'Mr. Rogers in the happy neighborhood' o:) ; who does these days? but he is pleasant and more caring about his patients than most doctors I have seen in the last 9 yrs. His staff is also friendly and efficient. Rebecca and Dena (sorry I don't know everyone's name) are so nice when I call in and I always get a callback. I would recommend Dr. Gamber to family and friends. He is certainly on my list as one of the most competent and thorough doctors in urology.

He cares, he is sincere in his diagnose; he ALWAYS gets back to me when I leave a CLEAR message for him to do so; his beside manner is wonderful; he has much on his mind to prepare mentally, physically & emotionally before surgery, so don't expect something you believe is the way he "should" act---he is the BEST physician for me and has taken WONDERFUL care of me/my kidney stones!! He simply is the BEST!!

I was never able to see the actual doctor until I had to have a procedure done, then Dr. Gamber totally blew off my concerns and threw the C word (cancer) around like it was nothing. Thankfully I did not have cancer. Dr. Gamber was cold, uncaring, and really did not care to deal with actual patients. He was also 1 ½ hours late for the surgery, and I was his first patient of the day! This attitude is passed on to his nurse practitioners. Garth, treated me with the same cavalier attitude. He was the first person I saw when starting with this office. He was very callous towards the discomfort I felt, did not concern himself with following up on my lab result, and I felt totally blown off. After visiting him, I had to go into the emergency room because the pain level was so severe. I never got a call from Phoenix Urological Surgeons asking how I was doing when I let them know and made a follow up appointment. Scott Young, the other PA was kinder, and more thorough. He was the only bright… light in the office. Yet after the procedure I had with Dr. Gamber, I called numerous times to speak with Scott because I was having an allergic reaction to the antibiotic they gave me. I kept playing phone tag with a receptionist, never got Scott to call me, and they never did get me back on another antibiotic. Of course it is rather difficult to get hold of their office when they take a 2 hour lunch break! ---- Stay away from these people, their service is horrible.

Dr. Gamber punctered my husbands bladder while trying to remove a kidney stone, and never admitted to doing it. I would have respected him a lot more if he would have taken responsibility for his mistake. Instead he tried to blame my husband for it!?

Amazing doctor. Patient, caring, thorough, detailed. After my surgery he called me later that day to check on me. I wish all of my doctors were like Dr Gamber!!!!
