Dr. Jeffory Ford Thomas, MD

Doctor Thomas shouldn't be relied on to diagnose anything more serious than a common cold. My Father had a fall working in his garden at the age of 77. Doctor Thomas never even x-rayed him after my Father complained about back pain. He never investigated any further, even though my Father lost about 30 lbs. in the 3 month period that followed and recommended that my Father go to a Chiropractor for relief of his back pain. Thomas prescribed an appetite stimulant to help with my Father's appetite. It never crossed Dr. Thomas's mind that there may be an underlying cause of the back pain and appetite loss. After several trips to Dr. Thomas with no help at all, a trip to the emergency room revealed that my had Pancreatic Cancer and it had spread throughout his abdomen. It took an ER Doctor about 30 minutes to do what Dr. Thomas never was able to do in several months of his "care". Beware!

Dr. Thomas is fantastic! One of the best family practices doctors I have ever seen. He defines what a doctor should be like. His nurses are excellent and personable and will go out of their way to explain things. Wait times are sometimes unreasonable. This is because he doesn't rush thru patients. Ask the nurse what the real wait time is after you arrive and go get a cup of coffee.

Dr. Thomas is my husband's primary care doctor and I think he is one of the best, if not the best, my husband has gone to over the years. He is thorough, follows thru with his diagnosis and provides a treatment plan. Can't say enough good things.
