I have gone to Dr Bado for about 11yrs, when I went him I was in so much pain , I had two back surgery s and hip replacement , I went to pain management drs before him and the Doctor I had at that time pit a morphen pump into my body, this doctor left it go dry two times and I was admitted to the hospital with severe with draw that's when I decided to get off the pump which took awhile, but my pain was getting so bad in my back going down my leg, so I took all my records to Dr .Bado he went over them with me and showed me my problem before he persricpted any Meds for me, what he gave to me helped me with my pain , I could do things again , I took care of my Mom till she passed . I saw dr b for about 8 yrs. Iwas in alot of pain and he helped me. But as yrs went by i was still on the same amt of meds. He even increased them when i said i didnt feel well ( i didnt say pain). Idk he had me on 240 pills 10mg oxy a month and 2mg klonopin 4x a day. Office visits std to average 5 hrs.a People were nodding out. Almost everyone llooked high. I decided to find a new dr and get off all the medication. It took two yrs. But i feel better. I still have pain but not enough to require what bado was giving me. When he std charging medicaid and ssi pts $300 a visit, i became sceptical. They only recieve $200- 700 a month. He also stopped taking care of medical probs like my thyroid disease. Other drs pharmacists and pt told me to stop the high dose of medication. I am on very little today. I am thinking clearly and my memory is good. I have a hard time believing people with back and neck pain need 240 pills a month.This is standard at his officeSadly he is a very good internist… who switched to pain mgmt. I dont undetstand his partner dr shushman. He used to critisize bado for prescribingtoo many narcotics Then suddenly hes working with him and fine with the meds. They also violate dr/ pt cofidentiality. I just heard today about the raidmIdk how to feel. Some people need huge amts of narcotics, most dont. How anyone can say narcotics keep them working doesnt make sense. You shouldnt b dri ing let alone decision making. On those meds I std making very poor decisions. I think most people are fooling themselves about this. Weanoff the meds and see if you feel better. He made drug addicts of alot of people. Well he use to say he would probably go to jail. Yes he goes on missionary trips. So he hurts some people so he can help others.If you want confidentiality, he is a poor choice.He had no problem with violating my privacy to other church members Its up to the lord now. We do reap what we sow.

I am one of those late bloomers that just found out today when I went to my appt that the office is closed! I've been seeing Dr Bado for more than 12 years and I can say that he is one of the Best doctors that I have seen. I know he is a good man & a spiritual man! I have internal pain caused by endometriosis & intersticial cystitis and also have had severe neck & back pain due 3 herniated discs caused a car accident. When I first started seeing Dr Bado I was in much dispair & could not see the light at the end but with his help & spiritual support throughout the years I've been living with a lot less pain & have been able to take care of my daughter! ~ I've been going to him for such a long time & I have never seen him do anything but "by the book" so to speak so I have a hard time believing any of these negative accusations & Will keep him in my prayers as I know he has done for me in the past! I was a ;patient of Dr Bado for the past year and honestly i trusted his opinion and believed in his actions towards my medical care. I am a mother of two and a very hard working woman, with my present issues in my back each physician i seen was trying to force me into a surgery that NOONE could guarentee nor say it would not result into addional surgeries to follow, i was scared and did not kbow what to do, I knew that surgery was not an option at this time because the recovery period alone was so long that i would have lost my job and been unable to care for my children, I could not risk the unknowing of the outcome and end up on disability at such a young age so i was seeking further opinions from different physicians, i came across Dr Bado on the internet and after reading reviews i decided to make an appointment. I felt good after my first visit, he actually sat with me and showed me my xrays, mri's and explained where my problems were and also said that surgery was a huge risk… and if i did proceed with it that there was a huge chance i would end up in 10 times more pain than i was originally in. I started to see the on-site Chriopractor and taking medication daily. I began to feel good, able to sit walk and stand without excrusiating pain running up and down my legs, back. It was nice to pick up my baby boy and not have tears fill up in my eyes due to pain. I had no idea of what was going on with other patients, but me being a legitimate paient am now at my wits end, i do not have my records therefore i am having a really hard time locating another doctor, and because i was a patient of his other doctors are not so willing to take me on as a patient. I cannot believe this has happened and i am trying my best o find out what the next step is, i am so scared to agree to a surgery that only gives a 35% chance of relieving the pain but im not sure i have another option. I feel such a loss and nervousness, when you build a bond with a doctor and trust them with your life to find out he was being a fraud or mistreating patients? It kind of puts a bad feeling inside of me and now im the one who will suffer.

I first walked in to Dr. Bado's office twelve plus year's ago I was a person with little hope and a lot of pain. Pain that I had been dealing with for many years. I've been misdiagnosed and treated for illnesses I didn't have. After two visits I finally had an accurate diagnosis and my pain was under control. I had hope once again. I was diagnosed with a rare bone disease called Pagets Disease of the Bone. I have a large bone growth/tumor on my thoracic spine causing severe pain in my chest which caused my lungs to begin filling with fluid. Dr. Bado sent me to Thomas Jefferson and they agreed with Dr. Bado's diagnosis. I was then referred to John Hopkins who also agreed with my diagnosis. I am in need of a very serious surgery and John Hopkins scheduled me for that surgery. However because of the surgery being such a high risk I choose not to have the surgery. They would have to go through the front of my chest by removing ribs and like all surgeries there's no… guarantee of the surgery being a complete success. Since then my disease has worsened. I have growths on my hips/pelvis and bone enlargement at the base of my skull causing severe nerve, muscle and neck pain. My hope is beginning to vanish. Dr. Bado gave me hope when no one else could or would. He helped me physically and spiritually. There was a comment made "All patients seemed less of ideal health and appeared to have no back pain!!". To look at a person you do not know & not have a doctorate degree is complete stupidity!! Hey FBI, can you write my script for me you have my MRI and can see, im legitimate for pain management, referrals, records, progress reports are all review before you can see bado, now what. Oh, that's right, you have gov. Benefits , trade places with one

Dr. Bado is a great doctor who does nothing but trying to help ease his patients from the pain they have to live with. It may have taken a bit of waiting when you had an appointment to see him, but that was only because he would never rush his time with his patients and would sit with them and talk to them till he figured out a good plan to help out. All I know as a patient is I hope his practice opens back up soon, because my nerve damage and all other pains that came from a horrible car accident that put me in the hospital for over 4 months and made me have 3 surgeries aren't going away.

Dr Bado helped me when nobody else would. He didn't care about my insurance only cared about me. I have been a patient of Dr Bado's for almost 12 yrs . He helped me get through surguries-back pain- neck pain -- and helped me spiritually when my mother died. I don't know what to do or where to turn. How do we get info or our records. I had 5 dr's before him and none of them cared about me --this sucks
