Excellent doctor. He listened and answered all my questions. I am very nervous about having a spinal fusion done on my lower back. He explained it to me very well. He even showed me a model of what needs to be done. He left it up to me to decide when I am ready to schedule the surgery. I think I am going to let him know I am ready now.

My exam was through and all test/evaluations are reviewed with you. Never felt rushed. We discussed all the option and created a plan for my concerns together, based on his recommendations. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Great doctor! Very thorough, explaining everything and going over your x rays with you. He performed my cervical spine fusion surgery and I am very pleased with it.

So disappointing - you wait 4 months for an appointment scheduled with the spine doctor only to find out the doctor won’t make time to see you. Feels very disrespectful to patients.

He did a C5-C7 fusion on my neck. Only lasted 3 years. His office then would not see me to have him check after the hospital have me the news. I've been in constant pain.

Dr. Baron was my third opinion regarding herniated discs and severe arthritis. Both had informed me my situation was '' so bad once we open your back you will need screws and that so let it go as long as you can stand the pain" . This made me scared to proceed. After over a year of these symptoms an acquaintance who had had similar symptoms referred Dr. Baron's practice. He listened patiently , then took one look at my xrays and stated I needed the extensive surgery. NOTE .NEEDED. Not well, you have a bad back and lets wait, Nor I am surgeon and will do surgery just to do it . Despite his initial personality which can seem abrupt or "cocky" he really cares . He acknowledged my fears and pointed out I was not living a fulfilled life due to pain. Also advised me he does not perform surgery when its not needed. I felt so comfortable with him when as a nurse I am wary of physicians at times. At my six week check up I was a different person. I feel so great I could cry. He looked like he… could too. I was so happy to hear him say "this is why I do what I do" Now I can run around in circles after barely walking for 9 months. I wish I had surgery a year sooner as my recovery had no complications. Was home 2 days after surgery. Everything from pre-op to discharge was seamless. I can say 100% he is one of the best physicians I have encountered in many years
