Dr. Jeffrey Hunter Barton, MD

JEFF DELIVERED BOTH OF MY CHILDREN AND FOUND OUT THAT I HAD GALL BLADDER ISSUES. HE ALWAYS WENT OVER AND ABOVE WHAT HE NEEDED TO DO. MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN IN A WAY THAT ONLY ONE IN TEN THOUSAND BABIES ARE BORN AND EVEN THOUGH HE HAD NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE HE TOOK CARE OF US AND BECAUSE OF HIM SHE WAS NOT BLINDED. HE IS AMAZING.

If you really need medical care during pregnancy, find someone else. This doc repeatedly did nothing about medical issues such as high blood pressure, uti infections, and severe nausea during pregnancy. This resulted in early labor and other complications, like many ER trips for IV fluids that made for an expensive pregnancy. After TWO NICU babies, and no, they weren't twins, I am convinced this doc has a hard time being proactive about problems. He is very sweet and compassionate, but not quick enough to stop problems when they occur. I didn't get as upset about the hour and a half wait times for each appointment, but lack of medical care from a doc, long wait times, curt staff, and many complications means it's time for another doctor.

After having my children I visited a Dr. that said she specialized in women's pre-post menopausal health. I didn't like her much or feel comfortable with her. Dr. Barton Sr. delivered my children and I saw Dr. Jeff Barton once or twice before seeing the other Dr. Recently I had a menopausal question and concern and I returned to see Dr. Barton. He reviewed my situation and went over all the areas of good health and treated me like I had never left. He was kind and gentle and even ignored my rude interruptions when he was talking. I trust his recommendations and I am so thankful to have a competent Dr. to care for me.

Dr. Barton delivered both of my children and I wouldn't trust any other doctor for delivery after what he's accomplished. My pregnancies were considered a high-risk pregnancy and he actually nursed my second one, after the age of 40 and a horrific car accident. Each patient is treated as a friend and his schedule does not seem rushed, although he has to be in demand. When you are searching for a doctor who genuinely cares, this is the doctor you want.

Dr. Barton has been my Doctor for 8 years now he is the best he has delivered all 4 of my beautiful children. My first three pregnancies were easy but the last one was tough he helped me relax and get through it as well as took extra good care of me when I hemorrhaged after my last pregnancy. He was also a great support during and after my miscarriages. You may have to wait a few extra minutes to see him but it is so worth the time!

I have been a pt. of Dr. Barton for almost five years. He delivered my oldest two children, and I am seeing him for my third and last baby right now. I wouldn't see any other OB. I frequently suggest him to all my friends and family looking for a great OB-GYN

After reading previous comments, I wonder if we are talking about the same doctor, but name and location are right. Dr Barton was my doc for my second pregnancy. I gained a lot of weight with this pregnancy due to bedrest, and was already very self conscious about it. Dr. Barton quipped at least one fat joke at every single visit, and made faces when he would measure my belly. He treated every single question out of my mouth with disdain, and was far too loose with the Rx pad- even prescribing paragoric (which contains morphine!) for my braxton-hicks. I would never recommend this doctor. The other Doctors in his practice, on the other hand, I would highly recommend.

Dr. Barton has been my OB/GYN for almost 20 years. He is an Excellent doctor who takes the time to listen and truly cares about his patients. Dr. Barton has treated me for Endometriosis, delivered my 2 children, and a few years ago, performed my Hysterectomy. There's no doctor I trust more!

I had my first baby with Dr. Barton and he is such an amazing doctor! He took the time to let me ask questions, and always made me feel so comfortable. I've loved having Dr. Barton and I plan on going back to him to have all my babies!

I have been going to Dr. Barton for over 2 years. We have been trying to get pregnant for the longest time and Dr. Barton could care less. He always gives contradicting advice every time I go. The last time I went to see him was a follow up visit for a procedure I had. He had know idea how to read the results from the procedure and even asked me if I have had kids before! What a joke. Every time I go I tell him how hard I've tried to get pregnant for the first time. I then told him I was 30 and he told me that I am young and should be patient, I am not going back.
