Dr. Jeffrey B Becker, MD

I was unfortunate to have worked with Dr. Becker a few years ago. He is the most obnoxious, greedy, and narcissistic person I have ever met. I will not mention where I worked with him, but he was just as horrible to the staff as he was to his patients. Sorry, I have nothing nice to say at all, but I believe the truth should be told. Many patients would leave his office in tears. Some patients he would refuse to see if they could not pay their copay or if they owed him a few dollars (as little as $20). It didn't matter to him if the patient was disabled and needed professional help. He would scream and shout at the staff and would also have them in tears. What a horrible person, and what a horrible experience I had ever meeting this man. Napoleon complex to the T. I really hope and pray that he is not practicing anymore and has retired to his favorite country, which would be Dubai, with all his money. Good riddance!

My mother went to Dr. Becker for eye therapy after she lost some vision due to a stroke. When she started complaining that her vision was getting worse I tried to ask him questions about her treatment. He wouldn't answer anything and treated me horribly. He acted offended at my questions and instead of answering them he asked me what I did for a living and never looked into her issues! We found out later after switching eye doctors she was suffering from glaucoma and lost total vision in 1 eye. It's so far gone it cannot be fixed. He never took the time to look into anything, if he only listened she would be able to see today. I also tried to speak to his therapist (Jeanette) and she would not listen to me either. She was also dismissive and rude. Find someone else, anyone would be better.
