Dr. Jeffrey Bergman, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Bergman is an internal medicine physician with additional training in emergency medicine who has practiced for over five decades. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine and completed residencies at both New York Methodist Hospital and Boston Medical Center. His dual specialty training provides him with comprehensive skills in both ongoing patient care and acute medical situations.

Dr. Bergman practices at NewYork Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and sees patients in Farmingdale, New York. He treats patients with complex conditions including colon cancer and colorectal cancer, including cases where the cancer has spread or returned. His procedural expertise includes placing specialized drainage catheters for fluid management, performing abdominal ultrasounds for diagnostic imaging, and conducting CT enterography to evaluate intestinal conditions.
