Dr. Jeff Black, MD

Went to the emergency room in Broken Arrow st. John's Hospital saw Doctor black on two different occasions within two weeks went to the ER because I had back pain issues. I informed him that I had had back surgery 8 years previous and that I probably needed an x-ray and an MRI to determine what went on in my back he told me that he could not order an MRI but I convinced him to do the X-ray. He never examined me he stood at the door entering the room and talk to me from about nine feet away was the closest he ever got. Consequently I went to another doctor a few days later who did order the MRI and determined I had a collapsed disc and ordered emergency surgery which I which was performed a couple of days later.

Ive never even seen this doctor and he charged me for a $100 visit, never sent the statement, just the debt collection. Having my attorney contact him

I saw Dr. Black in the emergency room at St. John's Broken Arrow. Apparently, he determined that I was an illicit drug user. I went to the emergency room on the recommendation of my insurance company due to neck pain. I sat in the room for two hours (although there were no other patients). Dr. (and I use that term sarcastically) Black interviewed me, left the room and did not return, so I left the building. From reading his comments thru the St. John's portal after I left, he determined I was a drug user. No blood or urine test, no Xray.........? I think he was mad because I left. He gets terrible reviews and I can understand why.

I went to St. John’s Sapulpa er, for an eye injury, he was the dr on call,(lucky me). He acted like I was a waste of time, he was rude, very arrogant, acted like I was a waste of his time. What a jerk!!!! He does not need to be a dr if he can’t treat people with respect ..... I couldn’t even give him one star ,,, I would not recommend him to my worst enemy!!!

Dr. Black was the ER doctor at St. John Owasso. Went in for sever Lower back pain that has caused numbness down my left leg causing disabling pain . I asked if we could get an x ray or Mri and possibly a steroid shot since I have so many other health issues that I could not tolerate most Narcotics. He completely disregarded any tests and said I was just there for pain meds. Uh, NO! I can't take that stuff. I rarely go to the hospital in the first place so when I go there is usually something very wrong. He was a joke and blew me off never even touched me , no exam whatsoever and told me I sprang it and still wrote me a script for ultram which I can not take. His bed side manner is lacking big time! I will die before I would see this dr. Not that he would help anyway. Does not deserve even a 1 star!

Went to St. John's ER due to having trouble breathing from my severe sciatica nerve damage and pain it's been causing me....I have a regular doctor who I see but has told me if I am in extreme pain or complications go to the ER to seek further help....biggest mistake ever...DR JEFF BLACK was the doctor on call...not only did he not help me he insulted me, laughed at me,and then told the entire office my personal medical information....I told him my doctor told me to come here they usually give me an anti-inflammatory injection....he laughed the entire time he talked to me and asked me what do you want me to do for you...YOUR THE DOCTOR IM AN ENGINEER I CANT DO YOUR JOB FOR YOU!!! He then pulled my file told me my doctor has me on to much medicine and proceeded to lecture me on Oklahoma's pill epidemic and tell me I need physical therapy...then as I was offended and walked out he decided to tell the entire nurses station I how much medicine I Have been prescribed in the last two… months.... I have had numerous MRIs I need a surgery to correct my back before I am wheel chair bound but am waiting for insurance to approve it...and as for Oklahoma pill problem that's not my problem I was seeking help for the trouble I was having breathing because of the pain...not to get a lecture and embarrassed...this guy treated me so horrible that his boss came out and apologized for him and gave me info to file a grievance on him..DONT GO TO HIM HE WILL TREAT YOU LIKE A JUNK-E ...insulted how my doctor treats me...MY DOCTOR IS ON THE OKLAHOMA MEDICAL BOARD HE IS NO PILL PUSHER !!! AND TELL PEOPLE HOW MUCH MEDICINE YOU ARE ON AND LAUGH ABOUT IT....HE IS A JOKE AND HAS NO BUSINESS BEING A DOCTOR ...EVEN HIS COWORKERS AND SUPERVISOR WAS APPALLED BY THE WAY HE TREATED ME... Steer clear of DR JEFF BLACK!!!!
