Dr. Jeffrey Arthur Bornstein, MD

He came blazing into the office clearly agitated and upset that I had brought a test result ordered from a functional med doctor to him. Proceeded to give me a lecture on how these guys don’t know anything. Regardless, the test shows my son’s elastase was low, but he refused to believe it. He looked at my son and said he was fine. He dismissed all concerns I had. My son is autistic and we deal with a great number of providers for him. I was seeking his professional advice about his low elastase and I left there crying, feeling so humiliated.

Dr. Bornstein is an amazing doctor that has treated both of my sons for Ulcerative Colitis. He treats every patient as if it were his child. He asks himself - What would be best if this were my child? And that is what he will do for his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Bornstein.

He has taken excellent care of my daughter with CP. He has a great bedside manner, and his staff is very caring

I chose this doctor for my 8 yr old son, mainly because he got the award of compassionate doctor. After over an hour wait, he literally spent 4 min in the room with my son. My son was mainly seen by his nurse practitioner. We were sent home with a prescription for stomach pain pills (to take if needed). I am a mother of three young kids, and at that time, my mother was in the hospital. So my mother in law (who doesn't live in this country) came to my house to help me out. Long story short, she accidentally threw away the medicine I had bought for my son. I called the office, and they refuse to prescribe him replacement medicine for the ones thrown away. I understand that they could think I was giving him too many pills and lying to get extras, so I offered to write a letter, taking full responsibility if my son "overdosed" on those pills. I was desperate, my son would have stomach cramps, and I had nothing to ease his pain. When I told his office staff over the phone I had no… medicine to give him when he was in pain, the lady started "scolding" me saying that I should have taken better care of the medicine. So, I called his nurse practitioner since it was impossible to talk to him directly, to ask her for advice on what to do to ease his pain without medicine. She never bothered calling me back. On top of all of that, they lost his stool samples, so they could not tell me what was really wrong with my son. I do understand it was my mistake about the medicine, but compassion? Never seen a trace of it during that whole ordeal.

He is great. one of the very few drs I like.

This doctor here is amazing, I had my transplant done in Miami but I lived in Orlando. So my transplant team recommend me to him I honestly can say this was one of the best doctors I ever meet. Sadly to say I'm getting to old to see him and its very disappointing. I truly recommend you taking your children here. He makes you feel at home and eased.

Definitely love Dr Bornstein. He listened to my daughter and never judged her.

Dr. Bornstein and his staff and be wonderful in the care and treatment of my daughter since she was in the 3rd grade and was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and diabetes. She is now almost 18 years old. We will stay with Dr. Bornstein until she is too old for pediatrics. Love him!
