Dr. Jeffrey Jean Burdick, MD

In practice as well as in manner, this man is the worst of the worst. He has the intellectual curiosity of a particularly backward medieval peasant. He does nothing--he diagnoses nothing; he prescribes nothing. It's no wonder he has appointment time available--people know his reputation and know he is to be avoided. If the entire Neurology Division at AMC is a poor joke (and it IS), this person is its village idiot.

The worst of the worst... This man is smug, dismissive, rude and utterly unqualified to be a Neurologist or any other type of physician. He lacks the skill set to even be a receptionist in the neurology. His only aim is hook you up with a medication (always inappropriate and sometimes dangerous) as quickly as possible and then it's out the door with you. What a miserable man!

I recently saw Dr. Burdick for the first time and in all honesty, I could have lived my entire life not having had the pleasure. He was essentially the "bargain basement" of physicians. He seemed irritated entering the room and everything went south from that point on. He was unprepared, dismissive, and quite frankly just plain rude. He rushed the physical exam, became irritated when I was thinking aloud regarding a question, and insisted that I did not have a condition that has been diagnosed and confirmed by two other doctors. I can only surmise that this gentleman hates his job or perhaps his patients. In any event, I will never consider laying eyes on him again... The best thing about this office visit was the exit!

Horrible doctor! Does not care what so ever about you as a patient! Have had 3 appointments with him, the first one I was late by 10 minutes and he had left for the day already, the second one I literally spoke to him for 5 minutes and he wrote a prescription that did no work but made things worse! The third one was most recent and again I was in his office for maybe a total of 15 minutes and he again gave me a prescription right away, on top of that he gave me an attitude whenever I asked questions and seemed to get annoyed with me. Best words of advice would be don't even bother wasting your time
