My 14 year old daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. He was very patient with me and funny and kind to my scard child, she said she felt relaxed. On day two after surgery she felt good with only the need of Advil. No bleeding on day two as well. She said she would recommend him to her best friend.

I went for wisdom teeth extractions and they stuck me with an IV three times. The last time Dr. Carter took over and stuck it in my wrist bone and left it there! He pressed down on it very hard for a good minute or two. I was crying before I received general anesthesia. My wrist bone was instantly bruised and was the only thing that was very painful. I can't even move my right hand without excruciating pain. I definitely do not recommend.

Dr Carter would be good in Marathon Man as the sadistic dentist. I came into have my tooth packed after a wisdom tooth extraction. This guy took that wad of gauze and went for it. I had tears down my eyes. I actually couldn’t believe the pain and the force he did it with. What a jerk. I’d pull his license because he had this half smile after he got done. My daughter just had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Carter. From the time we arrived to the time we left everything went smooth. Every step was explained in detail.

Please throughly consider all options before selecting this provider. Would not recommend

I had orthognathic surgery (lower mandible advancement) done by Dr. Carter. The whole experience was excellent. Friendly and caring staff. Dr. Carter is very good at what he does with many years of experience. I highly recommend the Oral Surgical Institute.

I have been trying for 4 months just to get someone to call and talk to me about scheduling and appt and work out the payment amounts. They will not return calls, so after I paid for a referral appointment I am back to looking for a another oral surgeon, If they don't intend to do the surgery why are the scheduling appts for consultation. I would guess easy money without much work. Dr. Carter was friendly and quite knowledgeable, felt a little rushed but overall I liked the physician. He just needs office staff that will actually keep business.

This was an in and out procedure! Well experienced doctor. I would recommend him to anyone needing their wisdom teeth pulled.

The Staff was excellent! Dr. Carter is one of the best oral surgeons! My experience was good...no pain...no complications or problems!
