Dr. Jeffrey Hal Charnov, MD

He may be a good doctor, but there is no excuse for consistently making his patients wait 1-4 hours. If it's for spinal injections, I've waited four hours for him. The hospital staff just shakes their heads and are as disgusted as the patients. In the office today I had a 1:00 with his PA. She was there and had no one before me yet I still had to wait 45 minutes while she made phone calls on MY time. She has been doing this for years and surely knows how to schedule time of her own to make calls. I talked to who I think was the practice manager who admitted that they purposely book patients for planned one hour waits. This is one of the rudest ways of treating others I can think of, especially in a pain management practice. He may be a good doctor, but he is lacking the compassion of how to treat his fellow mankind.

Dr. Charnov is extremely accurate with his assessment and takes the time to be sure you understand the procedure. I would recommend him highly!!

I’ve never been to a doctor who is so consistently late. On four different visits he was late. If I was late four days at my job I’d just be fired. I will never return, I’d rather deal with my pain without a doctor than have to visit him again.

Don't waste your time and money on Dr. Charnov and his office staff unless you like arrogance, rudeness, abuse and absolutely no medical help. His behavior is shocking. He was no help to me and his office clerk saw me and said he doesn't do anesthesiology any more. There isn't enough money in hanging around a hospital and waiting for surgery time his clerk told me.

RSD is a often hard to diagnose. I knew something was wrong. But I kept thinking it had to do with my knee replacement. I am young and I should have recovered a lot quicker. My first visit with Veronica/Dr. C - they felt that this is what I had. They set up a diagnostic block and the results were profound. RSD is sometimes complex - it's a science on how to treat and they look at all avenues. I refuse to take heavy narcotics and they work with me on other alternatives. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate them. Yes, you may have long wait times to see the dr/Veronica, but they spend the time with their patients. I'd rather wait and get their undivided attention!!!!!

If you dont mind waiting 2 -3 hrs in the waiting room things are ok.. when you see him or his PA Veronica. I was told come at 8:00 for the 1st appt and I should get in and out. I waited until 11:00!! She wasn’t even in yet! She doesn’t csll the office to let them know. And front office staff says nothing! When she foes come in she strolls in like a princess and says nothing! This is a on going problem. He is late as well and even when you go to the hospital for a procedure. He strolls in 2 hrs late! I just feel its very rudd. No consideration for others. Emergencies is one thong but every time is inconsiderate. I am looking for a new dr after 15 yrs because of this

This doctor was confusing and frankly did not come across as honest or truthful. The wait time plus PA & doctor visit exceeded three hours

I have been seeing Dr. Charvov and his PA Veronica for many years. Both him and his staff are Godsends. I've had many back surgeries including a spinal 360. Dr. Charnov pretty much saved my life by implanting a Medtronic pain pump. Sure there's a wait, but it's worth wait for me knowing I'll be treated by the best of the best and they will not rush me through my treatment. The staff is fantastic! They've become my extended family. I love all of them. I've read negative comments and don't get it. Maybe you should go somewhere else where you're just a number. I'm there to stay.

You may have to wait to see Dr. Charnov, but when it is your turn, he will spend as much time with you as you need to assure all of your questions are answered. I have been going to him for 9 years, and was devastated with my diagnosis. He has always been EXTREMELY supportive. I much prefer waiting than having a doctor rush through an appointment and not answering questions. The wait times have gotten shorter recently. When I go in for refills I usually see the PA and wait times are not as long. The office staff and billing have often been problematic. Hopefully they have gotten that corrected.

I have to wait one to two hours every appointment. (It take approx. 10mins for the procedure ) Waiting.... even though I make the appointment every 60 days to have pump filled. In 6 years I have seen Dr. Charnov ONE time, after demanding an appointment. Staff are not professional or helpful Veronica is very cold and very rude,
