He is a good Dr if you obey what he says. If you challenge him He will remove you from his care. He lies and is manipulative to support his program. It only works because we all know he is the only Dr on Maui that can provide the amount of pain meds on the island. Listen to him or you're gone.

Dr Chester, is beyond an amazing doctor, he’s also an amazing human being. He has treated me for over two years now, tweaking my pain management plan, following both victories and defeats, with all my surgeries and complications. He has gone the extra mile for me several times, always making sure that I got what I needed medically, while making sure I was treated with respect, and dignity. The medical world need more like him, doctors of his caliber are impossible to find. I will be eternally grateful, for finding him to follow my medical care.

Dr Chester is a no nonsense, by the book pain management specialist, who contours a medical plan to fit your medical needs. He is a doctor who not only follows through and goes the extra mile for his patients, but makes the patient responsible for their care as well. Dr Chester is simply amazing with his osteopathic manipulations and cortisone injections. Until I started seeing Dr Chester, I have never experienced relief from cortisone shots. Dr Chester is able to accurately and quickly locate the trigger spots, thus making the shot effective. Additionally he is incredibly skillful with his osteopathic manipulations. Together these are two great tools to help reduce pain.

An awesome doctor who truly cares for his patient's total well being. This man knows his stuff and is compassionate and his treatments are multifaceted, i.e. he promotes appropriate reading, pamphlets, even apps..........not just medicines. he listens carefully and is a very special person!

I was referred to Dr. Chester after suffering many years of debilitating pain. While I was desperate for help, the last thing I wanted to do was go to "another Dr." and feel like another number. But the moment I stepped into his office I was greeted warmly by his staff & made to feel comfortable. Then I met him and knew right away that even though we had just met, he was interested & concerned and wanted to help me. That has never changed. He goes above & beyond on a regular basis. He takes time with his patients, but he's also somehow always prompt - I've never had more than a 10-minute wait to see him. He is very kind, professional, takes great notes, explains everything, recommends that I research any new type of possible future treatment(s) and he remembers everything, which gives me confidence in him as a Doctor. I know I won't have to go in for a visit and repeat myself. He knows exactly where I'm at in our process and he listens carefully and adjusts my treatment plan… accordingly. He also holds me accountable, which is a good thing. Good doctors are hard to find, and I have found Dr. Chester to be one of the very best on Maui.

Dr. Chester is a very competent, and professional Doctor. I had lots of issues with finding a pain specialist when I arrived on the Island , after a month of we aren't taking any patients, and we cant see you for a month a friend referred me to him. I would recommend him for any one with chronic pain, or medication issues.

I went to Dr. Chester' s office, when I was in "excruciating" pain. I admit, I was not the best patient, and I got "upset" because I was overlooked as a patient. The receptionist was training a new person. They did not put me in a room, and glossed over me. Others were going into rooms before me. Afterwards, I got a letter from the doctor, that said he would no longer would be treating me, because I made "racist" remarks to the staff. If the doctor did not want to see me as a patient, that would be fine....but to make up untruths about my character....I am not pure caucasian, so why would I even do that???

Dr. Chester is one of the most competent doctors that I've been to & I feel total trust in his judgement & expertise. Comfortable & easy to relate to...he cares.

Being a resident on the islands,I've been to quite a few doctors because of my Med. Problems. If you're anything like myself, you have had a lot of frustration well I'm so lucky to have been referred to DrChester. He's professional, yet personable. He's something of a rarity among his piers. Im thankful to have a doctor who's knowledge and compassion goes hand &hand
