Dr. Jeffrey Mark Cohen, MD

Very dismissive, rude, I could not get a question in as, he talks over you and dismisses you because he has all the answers, I.E., he caterogizes you and writes in his chart narratives to fit his category regardless of facts (he shuffles them around). I question the good reviews about him as being genuine. I have found Many reviews that are exactly the concerns I expressed here. You have to do your do diligence and investigate. I went after seeing some recent reviews but, after leaving I was troubled and went back and found more reviews, many of them worse than this. I would not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Cohen is most responsive. He is direct. He gives options and solves. His knowledge is great; he is an Internist as well. He picks up on all information quickly and intelligently sums up the situation. He will tell you honestly everything involved, and gives you options. And his answering service is amazing! Very dismissive and have no regards for his patients feelings or opinions. Would let you have a stroke or worse just to prove to you who have control of your health.

Am a patient and my primary requested I see Dr Cohen. Couldn't get anyone to return my voicemail request for an appointment. Went to downtown office to request an appointment as I have abnormal labs per my primary doctor and hospital lab department for over a month requiring fluid intervention without improvement in labs. Cohen only saw the labs per his nurse and stated my labs were fine and no appointment was needed. They didn't ask any questions. I was told my labs had been normal in the past so (my recent sodiums = 128 for over a month treated) that meant I had no issues. This is the 2nd appointment/interaction where my wonderful primary physician was put down as not knowing when she should send me to this specialist - incompetance implied. Maybe the one who is incompetent is this office. Very rude and unprofessional. How long should one wait to receive a phone call to have an appointment scheduled? No recommendation for this office.

On our first visit to Dr. Cohen, he allowed 40 minutes! He said that in his experience, the extra 10 minutes provides the opportunity for patients to remember and voice all their medical concerns and gives him a chance to get to know you better. His suggestion for med changes have helped significantly!

Best Doctor Ever! Takes such good care of me and this Doctor actually cares. I mean he sits down and actually disuses all of your issues and doesn't rush you like other doctor's. He has been my doctor for 7 years now and I wouldn't trade him for the world!

Dr. Cohen spends time with the patient and doesn't rush you. He listens to what you have to say and then gives his best advice. Easygoing bedside manner.
