Dr. Jeffrey Allen Crandall, DDS

after 3 years of going to this "Dr" i fled... as a refugee of this "Dr" I found a more attentive, caring and professional Dr elsewhere, I suggest you skip this pleasure and find a different provider, one who knows what they're doing...

I was first diagnosed with TMJ disorder 10 years ago. I did splint therapy my pain went away. I fell down several times this past winter and the last fall took my jaw out of place. I went back to Dr. Crandall and am doing splint therapy again. I am doing much better. I don't care about all these bad comments on here. He has always done right by me and he will continue to be my Dr.

Dr. Crandall is a bit gruff and is obviously busy, but going to him has helped with my jaw pain so much.

Dr. Crandall is the rudest physician out there. He gets his patients addicted to pain killers and causes more harm than good in the long run. He offers no treatment and only keeps patients coming back. Since I got away from him my jaw pain has almost ceased to exist.

My treament for my TMJ issues with Dr. Crandall did not go well. He withheld information from me regarding my x-rays many years in orderto tell me that my jaw joints were thin and that the discs were dis-located. I later had x-rays done by two other doctors who said that my jaw joints were not thin and that the discs were not dislocated. These doctors also requested the x-rays Dr. Crandall had done and said these x-rays also revealed that my jaw joints were not thin and that the discs were not dislocated. Dr. Crandall put me through a splint therapy treament which in the long run only worsened my TMJ issues. I later found out that if I had just gone through physical therapy treatment that my TMJ issues would be gone. However, due to the permanent changes caused by the splint theraepy on my bite and jaw I will now have chronic jaw pain for the rest of my life. I highly recommend that nobody see Dr. Crandall for treatment of TMJ issues.

I was newly diagnosed with TMJ and was in great pain. Dr.Crandall was able to get me an appt.quickly and has kindly&patiently treated for about 2 years. My visits are educational, exercises and PT offered to minimize the need for pain meds, yet meds are given in a non-judgemental way when needed. TMJ is very painful! The staff is kind and friendly, phone calls are returned promptly, and appointments are scheduled for my next visit at each appt. I can't say enough about the empathy and compassion shown to me by Dr.Crandall and his staff.
