Dr. Jeffrey R Crane

I have always DISliked going to a dentist for one reason or another. Poor office, bad manners, pain. However, from the moment I met Dr. Crane, he was vastly different from every other dentist I've visited. He was HONEST, kind, caring, informative, and he spoke TO me. He used words and phrases I understood. He was also the first ever dentist to suggest I get tested for a medicine allergy. Not because it would be more convenient for him, but he felt it would be in MY best interest to know for certain. He's also the very first dentist to be able to give me a Novocaine shot without me feeling it. Even with the numbing gel used, I've always felt that first shot, but not with him. He has a wonderful sense of humor that makes him more human, more personable which a lot of doctors lack these days. You feel you're more than just his 3 o'clock appointment. I'm currently having a root canal done, and in the past, I've just had the tooth pulled rather than try to save it if it meant a root canal.… My first appointment, he completely changed my mind. And he solidified himself as MY dentist. We both thought I was numb and were surprised when I felt something. He immediately stopped what he was doing to give me another shot and he apologized for hurting me, even slightly. A couple of days after that first appointment, he took the time out of his busy day to call me personally just to make sure I was all right. No other dentist I've had has bothered to do that. I have, and will continue to recommend him to everyone I know for an awesome dentist. If you're reading this, and you're in the Aurora, CO area, stop in to Comfort Dental and ask for Dr Crane. He'll make you feel relaxed, comfortable, and knowledgeable about what's going on, what he feels needs to be done, how much it's going to cost (the insurance companies set the prices. Did you know that? I didn't until Dr Crane told me.), and he will work with you to get everything done. I can't say enough about him. He's one in a million as far as dentists go.
