Dr. Jeffrey Blake Crowder, MD

I have a painful issue with my eyes, and I need to be seen. Dr. Crowder cancelled my first appointment with him and I had to reschedule, leaving me with a wait-time of 2 or 3 months. Then, early in the month of the rescheduled appointment, he called to cancel again. What's the point? I'm done with Dr. Crowder.

I have Cataract surgery with Dr. Crowder he did the diagnostic correctly, he explained what or what can't be done, and the procedures. He listened to my concerns, and share his knowledge and experience with me. he was on time for the surgery, and he would apologized to me, if he was not on time. Him and his staff have great professional attitude, and care. I will recommend Dr. Crowder to anybody. Anna in Lawrenceville.

Dr. Crowder is great. He is experienced and knowledgeable. I have had to wait to get an appointment but I think that's because he's good at what he does and is in high demand. His staff is delightful. There is usually a moderate wait when you're in the office.

Dr. Crowder may be an intelligent opthamologist, but his bedside manner is ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE! I have seen him twice and each time he was rushed, did not listen, and when he did, made me feel judged. If you want to see an opthomologist who wants you to sit there silently and not ask questions about a traumatic diagnosis he has given you, disregards your concerns, and is rude to his staff, then he is your man. If you want someone who actually listens, THEN CHOOSE A DIFFERENT OPTHOMOLOGIST AT KAISER!

I would not ever recommend Dr. Crowder. I was sent to hhim from the ER, and had 3 visits because my eyes were not getting better. I waited at least an hour every time, and was misdiagnosed over and over. When things did not improve I went to a different doctor that was a Optometrist. The Optometrist correctly diagnosed me and I could see again that evening after receiving the correct treatment. I missed 9 days of work being improperly diagnosed by Dr. Crowder. Very frustrating!

He seemed like a nice person but waiting for an hour to see him was not what I like to do. If they are going to be late then I think we should be late to get there. How would they like to wait an hour for us to show up???

when I moved to Macon and was looking for an eye doctor a teenager liked him because of the care he gave to her grandmother. Her grandmother had a multitude of problems.
