Dr. Jeffrey W Doneskey, DDS

Dr. Doneskey is absolutely fantastic! I’ve found that other doctors claim to be specialists in this area, but he is the real deal—a legitimate expert who has the education, training and experience that support his specialized treatment. When I came to see Dr. Doneskey, I was having intense facial pain from TMJ and was extremely fatigued. He really listened to my symptoms and other factors that were contributing and focused on reducing my pain as fast as possible so that I could finally get some relief! He has an ability to put together complex pieces of presenting concerns to create a custom treatment plan that is effective for individual needs. It's pretty amazing. He is also really warm and funny and will put you at ease! I have been so impressed by his knowledge and ability to problem solve my TMJ and sleep apnea struggles. I am so grateful my dentist recommended Dr. Doneskey. He and his wife Azita have been so helpful and accommodating and they truly care about their patient’s… well-being. I had no idea I could feel this good, it's truly life changing! My treatment experience has been wonderful and I strongly recommend his expertise!!

By the time I visited Dr. Doneskey I had severe TMJ dysfunction on both sides and extreme pain. Everything in my life was impacted - sleeping, eating and speaking. What I found in Dr. Doneskey was much more than a dentist. He is a deeply caring (and funny!) provider with a fantastic bedside manner. He treated my condition holistically, considering all the different angles and approaches we could take to promote immediate relief and long term healing and recovery. I am an altogether healthier person, beyond the TMJ dysfunction, as a result of his care. I cannot recommend Dr. Doneskey more and if you are on the fence I urge you to not think twice!

I have suffered from TMJ pain for over 10 years. I've tried acupuncture, physical therapy, massage, chiropractic work, cranio-sacral and nothing has been effective. Telling my Virginia Mason GP five years ago about CPAP discomfort and awkwardness, he referred me to Dr. Doneskey. Doneskey reviewed my VM sleep test results, asked a hundred questions, took dozens of measurements, and fitted me with an apnea-correcting bite appliance that eliminated the CPAP machine. I've been getting much better rest with a small fraction of the hassle the past five years. Having just gotten a replacement bite appliance for the worn-out original, I'm still raving about the entire experience. Doneskey is fussy with doctoring details while offering hilarious insight and commentary on any topic of interest. I'm often chuckling all the way home from his appointments.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jeff Doneskey for about 12 years now. I was found to be a victim of sleep apnea, after several sleep tests - I was diagnosed as "severe". No one could believe it - having an athletic background for over forty years: doing marathons, triathlons and climbing mountains,etc almost to the extreme. The PSAP machine just would not work for my active live style, and was very high maintenance. The mouth guard application works great and I have not only stopped snoring, but have slept much better. I was nodding off at the wheel driving and it was common to cross the center line and affect the lives of others.
