Dr. Jeffrey Lewis Donlevy, MD

My two year old daughter fell and broke her front tooth and her dentist determined it needed to be extracted. We were sent to Dr. Donlevy's office in Westchester and despite the fact that we did not have an appointment, they were able to squeeze us in the same afternoon. From the moment we arrived, everyone was amazing. The office staff, dental assistants, and Dr. Donlevy were all amazingly kind, caring, and professional in every way and they all worked to make the experience as quick painless as possible for my daughter (and me!). Dr. Donlevy even called us himself later that evening to check up on her...a practice that I didn't think existed any longer.

I had my upper wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Donlevy at his Westchester office several weeks ago. He and his entire staff did a fabulous job. I had no complications and a superb recovery. The office itself is spotless... clean, well-lit, and modern. Dr. Donlevy is friendly, energetic, and he took his time to explain the procedure to me in detail.My ONLY complaint: NO ONE FOLLOWED UP WITH ME AFTER THE SURGERY. Not only did they not schedule a follow-up appointment for me, but I didn't even receive a follow-up phone call. A simple "Hey, how are you feeling? Is everything ok?" from anyone in the office would have sufficed. Yes, it's a simple surgery and complications are rare... but it IS surgery and you ARE under general anesthesia, so it's nice to know your doctor and the staff care enough to make sure you're doing ok afterward. Obviously I would have contacted them if I'd had any complications, but your doctor can usually spot a problem before you do... and I like having that… reassurance.All in all, for me, Dr. Donlevy's laissez-faire approach to follow-up care was a bit unnerving, but I would absolutely recommend him to my friends and family.
