I had to correct him on his incorrect medical info, he did not know what he was talking about

This man does not listen to his patients.

I have been his patient for 3 years now and although I think he is knowledgeable in his field and I like him, I have always had a difficult time with communication and medication refills. Nothing every gets resolved with one phone call and I have had to go without medications on several occasions because of lack of follow through with his staff. I hate to switch doctors ,keep hoping things will improve ,but seriously considering looking elsewhere. If I had known what I do now I would have never started with him.

In retrospect I know what happened to me was an accident. I no longer blame this Doctor. It is so hard to get postings removed I decided to post this update.

Dr Elmer was the rudest , most insulting doctor I've been to and I have been to several doctors and never made a complaint till now. He diadnosed me as an acloholic because he said my liver was enlarged. Problem is I dont drink. Went to my primary the next week and of course my liver was not enlarged. During the appt he rudely did his dictation while I was sitting there, like my time isn't valuable.

I almost died. Not one thing I was promised prior to my would be "routine" procedure was done for me such as equipment, etc. If it wasn't for a famous heart surgeon who stepped in and took over I'd be dead now. I have never been the same.
