Dr. Jeffrey Jay Fagerland, DO

I was excited to meet this "wonderful and highly rated doctor" after my visit not so much. Went in for some minor women problems. One thing i noticed when we walked down to the room, he was just standing there his back against the wall looking like he was board. Im in the room, nurse is wonderful and very friendly. So here he comes in, i tell him what the problem is. I say that i am having anxiety and im anxious and frustrated and hormonal. I had other minor things going on too. He checked me for bladder issue and recommends me to go to a specialist, ok cool. He says he needed to prescribe me to a medication for another minor issue, ok. Remember i tell him i am hormonal, and im just down on myself. The whole time he didnt ask when my last mammogram was and didnt have any comcern on anything i was saying. So, here i had testing for my menopause and other minor issue. They said it would take a little while a day or 2 possibly to get the tests back. I called the next day, nothing from… them, called later, was sent to another location, the gal gave me the test results, not menopause. So i had asked the nurse for my one prescription and if the doc could get me on anxiety meds, she left a message saying he couldnt do that. So here i call later to ask for my other meds, i told her a location and figured she sent them, nothing that whole day, nothing the 2nd time around, called her the 3rd time, she said " the doctor forgot" seriously, we are on the 3rd day, they havent yet sent ny meds, this is even after i called and talked with the nurse and she said the doc would send it. You would also think the doctor and or nurse could of recommended a place to get in to tall talk with someone about my anxiety a specialty place.

This Doctor is one of the best doctors in des moines. He will take a time and listen to you, and help. Give you options,His nurse will call you back and check on you, I trust him and would recommend him to all my friends.

He would sit down and speak calmly and not act like he is in a rush, very sweet and caring. During my c section he was calm and fast. I trusted him, and I do not trust very many doctors.

I had the same experience as some of the others. After surgery he did not care that he cut me up and left me in pain. When I called in to talk to him his nurse told me there was nothing he could do since I did not have any female parts left. His answer was I don't know and he never checked up on me to see how I was doing

He spent more time with me as my GYN, but now that I'm pregnant, he doesn't want to take 2 mins with me.. He sends his nurse in to tell me "I don't know what to tell ya" or "You're fine.. you can go home now.."
