Dr. Jeffrey Fishberger, MD

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a psychiatrist. He puts on a caring face but can switch on a dime to being actively cruel; I later found out he lied to me during our sessions. He knows the right words to say, but underneath it all his ableism is shockingly intense. See literally anyone else instead.

He cares about me, about my medicine, he always gives me options.

Just wanted to let Dr. Fishberger that I’m doing very well. After testing HIV positive in 2010 I went to then Roosevelt Hospital and we under the care of Susan Heffron and Jeffrey Fishberger. I was in severely depressed and suffering from HIV related encephalopathy. Within a few weeks I undetectable. My candid conversations with Jeffery have me hope and desire to not just live, but thrive and return to the person I was before. I now am married to a wonderful man in Savannahah, GA and under the care of an amazing doctor here. I’m in 100% adherence to my medications and feel better at 52yo than ever in my life.

I've been a patient of Dr. Fishberger's for 3 years now and can easily say I think I've found one of the best psychiatrists around. He's knowledgeable, skilled and kind and addresses my mental health therapeutically through both talk therapy and medication monitoring. He's very attentive to returning phone calls or patient system messages and works closely with my pharmacy to assure the best coordination of care. I'm thankful for having such a great mental health care provider.
