Dr. Jeffrey Edward Ford, MD

Checked in late downstairs (10 min), put in room by dr assistant(7min) for assistant to tell me that I was late and dr had a meeting. Ok, it was my bad and I didn’t mind waiting but that was never offered. Instead she started talking about me not having coverage at Kaiser. I checked in at the front with my card and offered to show it to her, but she continued on that having a card does not mean it’s currently active. I’m here to see a dr. Not get benefit advice from an assistant. Long story short, I didn’t see the dr because I was late and he had a meeting. The assistant was too busy telling me that I never had Kaiser insurance and referred me to stop at the member service counter to sort out my coverage. She pulled up my wife’s insurance and noted that she was covered but it still didn’t mean that I was. I left frustrated, angry and blown away by how unprofessional these people were. Luckily, It wasn’t a life or death situation.

Shows concern for you and is friendly. Makes you feel he is interested in you as a person.

If you don't ever question this Dr. you will get along fine. Ask Dr. Ford questions or ask for further evaluation be ready for his tantrums.. I don't recommend him to friends or strangers.
