Dr. Jeffrey Steven Freeman, DO

Arrived early for appt, told there would be a wait of well over an hour! Someone should have called us before we left home for the appt so we could have come in later. Wasted our time. Once we finally got in, and the doctor came into room, he started the appointment for about 5 minutes then suddenly said he'd be right back. Heard toilet flushing. If he had to go that bad 5 minutes into appt, he surely should have known he had to go before he started the appt, and taken care of that before coming into room. Once appt got under way, he suddenly stopped talking, grabbed his phone and proceeded to call another patient. He put the call on speaker phone and started talking to other patient about his prescriptions. If that isn't a HIPAA violation, I dont know what is. The whole appt was disorganized, non-informative, and he had a slight attitude, and didnt want to listen to anything we said. This choice was a bad mistake.

Dr. Freeman is an excellent physician and I highly recommend him. He always takes his time during an exam and does not rush in and out of the exam room like many physicians tend to do now a days. He was extremely thorough and and thoughtful regarding my medical history and current state of health. I feel extremely confident with the care he provides every visit. I will continue to go to him for my care. He also has a very reputable network of physicians for referral when required.

My advice...don't go. I had the WORST experience of a doctor/patient visit in my whole life. He was so rude and so unprofessional with how he treated me. He berated me for being moderately overweight and bragged about himself. He is pretentious, condescending and very insensitive as a doctor.

Never go to this man. Maybe if you have diabetes he might give a crap, but if you have to go to him for any other issue he is a RUDE UNCARING jerk. I went to him with thyroid problems and he told me to take my synthroid and deal with it. His direct quote when I told him that I didn't feel that I was getting better was "Stop your complaining, at least you don't have diabetes." I went and got a second opinion at a doctor from Penn Hospital and it turned out I had thyroid cancer. Dr Freeman could not have cared less about my symptoms or my pain. Do not waste your time with his man!!!

Recently I was hospitalized. I was treated by Dr. Freeman during my hopsitalization. I can honestly say I have never met a doctor who puts so much effort in working with a patient. I am a patient with Type 2 Diabetes and I don't really enjoy the course of treatment I now have to endure, but Dr. Freeman made me feel really comfortable about the choices I had to make and his bedside manner is very pleasant and welcoming - I thank him for his patience with my impatience.

My family has gone to Dr. Slawek since 1970. At that time he was one of the first dentists to be trained in the use of the (then) new high-speed drill systems. He was very competent and caring at that time. Since then he has done whatever is necessary to remain on the cutting edge of dental technology and theory - and implemented that knowledge into his practice. He is happy to share his new knowledge and explain what he is doing at a level that is understandable by a patient without becoming pedantic. While he does high quality root-canal, crowns, and implants, he first does whatever he can to save the original tooth. We now live more than 45 minutes travel time from his office, but continue to use his services because we trust his judgement and his abilities.

I had problems getting an appointment near me with an endocrinologist so drive an hour to see Dr. Freeman, have been seeing him for several years, and am very pleased. He is up to date on newest medications and research and easy to talk with.

Like the first review I had received the same treatment from this DR. You feel like just a number. You sit in the waiting room forever and then in the room forever then when he comes in finally he is on his cell phone having someone checking is mail while you are sitting right there! He is very rude and insensitive to his patients.
