Horrible experience every time I go here, usually because he's so late and has horrible bedside manner. But lately it's even worse because they will change your appointment times numerous times before your appointment day shows up, they even changed my appointment time and did not tell me until the DAY BEFORE, which means I will miss this appointment, and my health will suffer as a result. Horrible practice, avoid and find somebody who will respect you and your time more than they respect money. This guy tries to pack in as many patients as possible which hurts the care each of them receives. He is exhibit A for why a profit based healthcare system is bad for patients. He is about money first, patients last.

I’ve been seeing Dr Friedman for awhile. He’s not overly expressive or aggressive w treatment but I feel he has done a pretty good job taking care of my health issues. The front office has not always been friendly or helpful though. They seem to have a big turn over w front office staff, the nurse, now NP, Christine, who just left. She will be missed!

I am a caregiver to one of his patients. I want to start with his staff. They are in the wrong business. They should not work with the public at all. The front desk is awful cold as can be and his nurse also VERY cold. Let me start with he serves pain patients. If you have to use the bathroom you cannot use the one a few feet from your exam room. No you have to leave his office and go out of it down the hall. That’s from his healthy employee’s. Makes sense right!???? He also also VERY emotionless. Thank goodness the person I take care of see’s other Penn Drs that are amazing!!!! You really need to do your research before taking him on as a Dr. I spoke to several people in the waiting room that felt the same but were stuck with him do to insurance and or unable to find a Dr. to help them. Sad really! Thank Goodness he is not my dr. But just the same was infuriating to see how these people were treated.

Dr.Freidman is outstanding in his bedside manners, he has a unique understanding of chronic pain he treats me with respect , also takes time to listen. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs treatment for chronic pain. Thank you Dr. Freidman!

Dr. Friedman listened to me and helped guide me in the direction I needed to go to achieve my being healthier, and overall wellness!

I had an appointment and never heard from him again. i was quite pleased when in his office. he said he'd be in contact with my family doctor, after which he'd call me on a method of treatment he'd recommend. my family doctor never heard from him after making several calls to his office and I called at least a dozen times with no response. no one ever answers the phone, it always goes to voice mail. very poor physician to say 1 thing and never follow up to myself or my primary care physician. definitely wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
