Dr Fronza misread my sons test results and even in a family meeting gave us the wrong information about my son’s condition. The night before surgery he sent us an email saying he misread test results and would be performing a different surgery that would involve an inpatient stay. We canceled the surgery. We found out that another doctor had alerted Dr Fronza that he misread the test results and my son was not a candidate for the surgery. Dr Fronza would have potentially disfigured our son and cause great harm. We decided to go to Mayo Clinic to get a second opinion. They said none of the three proposed procedures by Dr Fronza were warranted. Advocate for family and ask questions. I would not recommend this surgeon

He explained clearly three different ways to approach the problem I presented with, one of which, I was surprised to learn, was a less well-known technique that I had read about and was interested in pursuing. He responded to my questions before surgery, checked with me before beginning the operation, and explained at the follow-up visit how the incision would heal and what to expect in subsequent weeks. Dr. Fronza’s assistant was exceptionally welcoming from my first call to the office, and his team at Northwestern Hospital could not have been more professional and caring. I am happy to be able to recommend Dr. Fronza and his colleagues without qualification.

Dr. Fronza is a rarity among surgeons. Skilled and s very nice human.

my surgery had a horrible outcome

This guy should not be called a doctor. He might look good on paper but hes awful in the operating room. Never use his services if you want to be safe

I had a very successful Sleeve Gastrectomy with Dr. Fronza 10 weeks ago. The procedure was very successful, beyond my highest expectations. The surgery itself went very smoothly, and the recovery was quick. Dr. Fronza is very responsive to my communications and highly informative. Every interaction with him is a positive one. I also have a high opinion of the other professionals who work with him. I already have recommended him to friends and will continue to do so.
