Dr. Jeffrey Vernon Garrett, MD

Would not recommend!!! After heart valve replacement, open heart surgery, he sent me home with no pain medicine. Would not talk to me about my questions. Had his PAs talk to me, but they would say thats a Garrett question. So I had to go to Integris doctor to get the answers and pain medication I needed.

Doctor Garrett pretty much gave me quality of life back after a double bypass I’ve haven’t felt this good in 2 years. Explains things very well his nurse Natalie is the best! Dr Garrett is a great heart surgeon.

would not recommend this man at all. Put my wife through 2 surgeries and then said he was done and wanted no more to do with her. She still has a leak on the stump and has been treated for a pleural cavity infection caused by him leaving the leak. Very poor bedside manner

Five years ago I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Dr. Garret performed surgery and removed 1/3 of my lung plus a second wedge resection. I just got my five year scan and have been declared cancer free. I owe him my life.

If it weren't for Dr. Garrett's time and care in reviewing and insuring the best possible treatment for my rare cancer, I wouldn't be alive today! He and his staff have always treated me like I was so important, returned phone calls promptly, answered and questions, and worked me in to be seen in times of emergency. I owe my life to him! thank you!

I went to the ER a couple of weeks ago with chest pain and a mass was found near my heart. I was referred to Dr. Garrett and by the end of the week met with him for a consult. His scheduler always calls back same day and is very professional. He seems very knowledgable and has a good bed side manner. Still waiting for results, but so far I feel in good hands.
