Dr Gilsdorf is a caring and truly talented and professional doctor. He is not concerned about a quick and easy fix , he takes the time need to evaluate the problem and give solutions to resolve the problem that is right for you . He is punctual and his staff is very helpful and professional. It was a pleasure to go to a doctor that showed that much attention to your needs and not like you were just a number for the day

Dr. Gilsdorf has been our Ortho Surgeon for a number of years and we trust him implicitly. He has repaired my husband's knees 3 times and my shoulder. I wouldn't go anywhere else! He's a great communicator and give you plenty of options.

After a very careful and calculated consultation with Dr. gilsdorf I am grateful to be under his care to repair a shoulder injury. It was a very careful and conscientious and educational approach to the injury and the decisions to move forward.

I have complete faith in Dr. Gilsdorf . He did my knee replacement and has since treated me for rotator cuff problems. A true professional and a caring doctor. Always treats me with respect and explains everything so I can understand the problem and course of treatment. I highly recommend him!

Great bedside manner, listens well, knows his stuff. Related to ACL injury - he performed surgery as well, excellent outcome (3 years after and going...)

He has a terrible manner of engaging with a patient, as though he is wasting his time and doesn't even believe you are in pain. He spends little time with the patient, asks hardly any questions, and does not want to refer you for more testing, x-rays, MRIs, or physical therapy. He refuses to consider issues with your other shoulder when the appointment was made for both shoulders and neck pain, but one shoulder was described as hurting more. He passes follow-ups off to his PA who is much more understanding and competent.
