I dislocated my shoulder recently and have had a previous dislocation years back. I came in after a dislocation asking about next steps and spent the entire time listening to him talk about how I didn't dislocate it. First off, I didn't come in to ask if I dislocated it? Secondly, not only did he tell me just how wrong I was about my experience dislocating my own shoulder (as I had in the past and was diagnosed with a dislocation by a doctor) but he also put in the notes how there was no indication of dislocation despite everything I had shared. He also included a nice note saying “patient report possible previous injury,“ which is also false as I explained I had without a doubt dislocated it in the past. As I was told by a doctor who was watching my lacrosse game that I did in fact dislocate it which was confirmed by a doctor later that day. Classic case of someone not caring to listen, empathize, or gain an adequate understanding of what the patient is presenting with. Happy to be… able to say I was diagnosed with a weird loose ligament thing where dislocations are common and the doctor I am seeing now didn't question my experience and is setting me up with a PT.

Great ED MD! He takes all your concerns into consideration and tries to best diagnosis your signs and symptoms so you don't have to return. He is very knowledgeable and understanding; he has great bedside manner.

This doctor is incapable of diagnosing a simple hernia.
