Dr. Jeffrey Bennitt Goudreau, MD

He made me feel uncomfortable and as though he wasn't listening.

Me, my husband and members of our family have been going to Dr. Goudreau for over 20 years. He has always been a fantastic ,caring doctor. Two years ago, he had to tell me my CT scan showed what looked to be lung cancer. With in an hour, he and his nurse Amy had me set up to see a specialist, so I could see what I was dealing with. He also referred me to Dr. Haskell Kirkpatrick with Texas Oncology who is my life saver and such a wonderful caring doctor. He referred my husband to a specialist to be treated for prostrate cancer which would not have been discovered if not for Dr. Goudreau. He has taken such good care of us all these years. We are in our 70's now. We live 70 miles from Dallas ,but the trip is worth getting to keep him as our doctor. Edna K. Lane

Was looking for a new internist. Total cattle call waiting room. The nurse that greeted me was friendly, but the physician assistant and the doctor were cocky, rude, condescending, weren’t interested in what I had to say, interrupted me and cut me off when I was speaking. Horrible experience!

Dr Goudreau - sits & plays with his laptop. VERY LITTLE physical interaction with a patient - very impersonal. Doesn't really seem interested in the patient. He refuses to renew a prescription if you don't see him every 6 months. The medicine I needed, I've been taking for years, nothing has changed, but I'm supposed pay him more money for a checkup I don't need? No way - I changed doctors. BTW - you can't change doctors within the practice either.

went to this doctor for years and he became increasingly arrogant and did not want me to ask questions. during the office visit he was typing on his laptop and looking at his watch. i felt that all he cared about was making money and did not even like me.

Routine prescription refills require a fresh visit to the doctor, even meds that must be taken every day for life. In my opinion he is gaming the system to enhance his income, at the expense of his patients and their insurers. Beneath his facade of geniality lies a man whose only concern is for himself and his own image. Over the last forty years I've had several fine internists, only to see them retire. This man stands alone as an example of what to avoid when selecting a primary care physician.

Dr Goudreau is a good doctor but his nurse is unfriendly & uncaring. I stopped going to him because of her. She is his reflection.

Visited doctor as a diabetics patient. Had lab work on the same day and got the result in the patient portal. Then I contacted the customer service for medications and left voice mail to the prescription nurse for prescription orders. No response even after contacting them three times in the past two months. No medication order sent to pharmacy. Got frustrated with this doctor and so canceled follow up appointment and got to seek another doctor. They don't care about patients.

Caring, competent, efficient, informative. Been going to him as our family doctor for 3 years. I highly recommend Dr. Goudreau.
