Jeffrey Gould, MD

First impression: disheveled, sloppy, no smile. Took my 90 y/o great aunt for a worsening condition of unknown etiology but her PCP referred her to a neurologist because it was consistent with an autoimmune neurological disease. His bedside manner was absolutely awful. Shame on him. I questioned his dismissal of her condition to another specialties’ “issue.” His experience is limited and his only suggestion was to put a 90y/o woman on neurontin! We refused based on side effects and general safety concerns. i asked if he could help her get in to see specialist earlier than 6 months (as her condition is worsening) and if he could make a doc to doc call to speed things along. He flat out said no. He didn’t want to do anything to help solve this unknown deteriorating condition. Couldn’t get us out of his office fast enough. He hurried my poor aunt so fast out the door she almost fell! He is probably one of the worst doctors I have ever met. Dismissive, rude land arrogant. I’m shocked he… remains in practice and that DH would have him under their name. One positive note, the receptionist was very helpful and kind.

Deserves negative stars. Incompetent and arrogant.

I SAW DR GOULD AND WAS SCARED ABOUT THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, HOWEVER HE DID HELP ME AND DIAGNOSED A SOURCE OF MY NEUROPATHY THAT 4 OTHER DOCTORS DID NOT. I WILL BE SEEING HIM AGAIN.

Arrogant, rude and incompetent. One of the worst doctors ever. To protect privacy of patient, I won’t share details publicly but “Dr” Gould missed a life-threatening diagnosis saying the symptoms were all “in the subconscious.” Attorneys have been consulted.

Dr Gould treated my aging husband for Parkinson's with dementia. My husband liked to think positively and I asked Dr Gould to not tell him about his dementia. He honored my request and was very helpful with his Parkinson's. At first I thought his bedside manner was a little gruff but learned in time that he was an excellent doctor who helped my husband in his last days.

Creepy man who has no desire at all to help people. What a shame that he is affiliated with Doylestown Hospital. Horrible encounter.

Dr. Gould has helped me with a lifetime problem of migraine headaches. I don't have enough kind things to say about him and his staff.

Trying to find a good neurolist is not easy. I finally got an appointment to see Dr. Gould - i was VERY PREPARED and had medical records dating back to year 2000 about my brain damage, stroke info, seizure info, meds- everything. All he wanted to do was prescribe a new pharma med - i had recently had a stroke and other issues. He honestly just wanted to move on to the next patient - was NO HELP TO ME WHATSOEVER. I have CTE, multiple TBI’s w/ coma and am in serious pain/ having blackouts. Did not help me figure anything out- no medical plan. Awful experience 3 times!!!! No help whatsoever. Arrogant egotistical waste of time. But cheers to you “Doctor” Gould for being a neurologist . Do not waste your time with Dr Gould.

Dr. "Quack" not only ignored my records I brought to help him diagnose me (he literally threw them on the table) but he kept saying "so what is your next question" before even answering my LAST question. He really does not care about helping you but appears to just want to get you in and out of his office and get paid for not even trying to properly diagnose your problem. Shame on you Dr. Gould!

Dr. Gould has been my doctor since 2006, and he found my very rare neurological disease when other doctors could not. Without him, I'd still be using a cane.
