Dr. Jeffrey John Grabenstein, MD

Prompt, allows plenty of time, answers all questions, strives to find answers to medical problems instead of just giving medicine. When prescribing medications, he is looks at your history, other medications you are taking, considers cost, explains why he is giving the medication and what you might expect. He constantly researches and keeps up with lastest treatments and findings in the medical field and is capable of thinking outside the box. He does not hesitate to refer you to a specialist when needed. He is extremely computer literate, which is not the case with many of our doctors. Dr. Grabbenstein actually listens to symptoms and does not treat you in a condescending mannner or come across arrogantly. I am grateful for the years of care from Dr. Grabbenstein and all staff members of Family Doctors.

Dr. G is the best!

Dr. G is very thoughtful and it is obvious he really cares about you as a person and patent. He is very intelligent and well studied, and never fails to listen to you. He has an awesome bedside manner and isn't on an ego trip like a few doctors I have been to. He thinks outside the box and searches for the cause of your symptoms instead of prescribing medication to mask them. I am very thankful to have him to rely on for my health concerns.

The Family Doctors puts "family" back into family practice! I am always treated well and rarely have to wait more than 10-15 minutes for my appointment regardless of time of day.As the name of the practice says "Family" my entire family sees the physicians, and nurse practitioners that work there. The clinic is an asset to this City!

Dr. G is an excellent diagnostician. He got to the underlying causes by checking for Lyme disease and hypoglycemia. These are simple blood tests that no other doctor even suggested. He is an excellent physician and we are lucky to have someone of his caliber in Oak Rige.
