Very cold and distant. It's a bore hearing him somehow suggest that I have the option of having my tubes tied each time we talk about me potentially having a c-section. He has mentioned it each time I've seen him and it's irritating.

The surgery went well, but wish he was more reassuring and a little more kind. Like some of the other reviewers, I felt he was distant and cold.

So I was in need of a new primary OBGYN and decided to give a male OBGYN a chance being that he is a medical professional after all. He is certainly an old school man and professional but I found him to be a little rude. I felt like I was being judged during my visit and I’ve never had an OBGYN make me feel shameful in any way. He also made a rude remark to me that we won’t get into this review. If i was a young girl my first time seeing an OBGYN i certainly would not go to this man. If you need a quick check up and there isn’t anyone else who can help he’s okay.

may be okay medically; but why bother; find someone else.

I've seen Dr. Gross for a few years simply because I could never get an appointment with Dr. Pestrake. I never really wanted to see a male gyno, but found myself continuing to go back to him. Over the years I've found he can be hit or miss depending on the visit but I think overall he's a good doctor and more "traditional" in the way he interacts with patients. When I've had concerns or issues, I found that he does take the time to explain things pretty well. Only true downside here is that nearly every time I visit, I find myself waiting for sometimes up to 30-40 minutes to be seen and never had an apology for the wait. While it seems that this is the standard at most medical practices, I think a patients time should be valued and at least acknowledged. Overall, I don't think you could go wrong with Dr. Gross.
