Dr. Jeffrey Neal Hamlin, MD

Prior to this surgery, I have never been hospitalized, never had blood drawn, never had laughing gas or anything at all. I’ve also had a ton of teeth pulled in the past, and I always had bad experiences. Needless to say, I was very scared. All the staff were so kind to me, and they were the same people I’d met at my consultation, so I felt much more comfortable. I had enough laughing gas so I was relaxed before I had to worry about the iv. When doctor Hamlin came in, he was very friendly and talked with me to distract me so I wouldn’t be focusing on getting my iv put in. He got it in with just one poke and it didn’t hurt hardly at all. He also said they use a catheter so I could move my arm freely and didn’t have to worry about getting poked again by the needles. I don’t remember anything after that so I must have fallen completely asleep soon. When I woke up, I already had the iv out of my arm, so I never even saw it! I felt no pain at all through the entire procedure, and… they prescribed me everything I could need for recovery. I’m writing this the same day I had them out and I feel pretty much all better! Obviously my mouth hurts, but I am taking the medication and having some soft foods. Throughout the entire experience, I felt cared for, listened to, and respected; dr. Hamlin and his office were easy to reach friendly, and accommodating the whole time. I would definitely go back or recommend to a friend! I was surprised to see a couple negative reviews on here, but it seemed like maybe they were special cases? I had a very routine procedure, and I thought everything went super smoothly!

Dr Hamlin resolved a painful issue that I gad been dealing with for over a year. Got me in quickly for an exam and then pulled a wisdom tooth that same day. Excellent follow up as well.

Making the appointment was easy, even had to change it once, staff couldn't have been nicer about it. Once we arrived the friendliness of the staff at the front desk helped with the nervous feeling. Only after a few minutes my son was taken to the back to have his wisdom teeth removed. The waiting room was relaxing, nice office. After Dr. Hamlin was done he explained what he did and the follow up care. Dr. Hamlin and staff couldn't have been nicer. Making sure we knew we could call with any questions, but we didn't need to, recovery is going well and the instructions where clear.

This oral surgeon is horrible, he was so rude and hurtful to me, he was numbing my mouth and giving me my last shot, and he hit a nerve and it made my neck jerk, which wasnt anything incould control, the pain was so intense it made me tear up, I could hardly breathe the pain was horrible and he looked at me like "quit being a baby" and then threw his needle down and yelled at me and said "forget it, Im done I'm not doing this your gonna have to come back another day and get sedated" (put to sleep) (I can't be put to sleep because I have issues with general anesthesia) after he numbed my whole mouth and I was on nitrous gas, so I took off work and paid a ton of money to have this jerk stick me with needles and numb my whole face on both sides to just get yelled at and treated horrible, and still wasn't able to get my wisdom teeth removed. I am not a wimp, and I have a high tolerance for pain, so that wasn't the issue, him being a horrible person in general who doesn't know how to… treat people is the problem.
