Dr Jeffrey Hines

I read all the Reviews below, and wounder how some of these Patients come up with some of these Reviews. I personally  been a Patient of him a long time ago, My treatment went on for several years, and I never seen or heard Dr Hines or his Team talking rude or brushing Patients off. Dr, Hines is the only Doctor I ever new, set on a Patients Bedside after Surgery, because the Patient was fare from Home and non of her Relatives where with her.If Dr Hines would not be so fare I would be still his Patient. I received a cancer diagnosis almost five years ago, and I was blessed to have Dr. Hines assigned to me by the hospital. My cancer experience was physically devastating due to serious complications. I very nearly died more than once. Thanks to Dr. Hines and his staff, I am still alive today.

I was told that i had 6 large fibroids and 3 large masses on both ovaries and my uterus. I was told the masses have a strong possibility of being cancer. I was overwhelmed and terrified. So i allowed him to schedule my surgery. I didn’t get a second opinion because i was feeling so bad and he made it seem like i needed the surgery NOW. In hindsight, i should have at least had a second opinion. I am now 15 weeks post op. I do not regret having him as a surgeon. I regret going with WellStar. Horrible hospital. I just wish I’d have not felt that this was such an emergency. Turned out the masses were endo. All i have left is my cervix now.

One of the greatest blessings I've had in my life was meeting this doctor. From day one, he and his staff have been nothing short of amazing. As a young person who was diagnosed with cancer, it was so incredibly important that I have a doctor who was easy to talk to, understanding, and willing to listen as I anxiously rambled in his office. I've had two surgeries performed by him, and at both hospitals, the staff was highly complimentary of him. From billing to the nursing staff, everyone told me I had one of the kindest, best doctors they'd ever met. It's a tough journey, but whether you're the patient or the family, he puts you at ease. I do not always see him when I go for check ups, but Dr. Kelly is fantastic as well! Incredibly kind and personable! I can't say enough good things about them. May God continue to bless Dr. Hines, Dr. Kelly, and their fellow staff members!

Our sister saw Dr Hines for terminal cancer she passed away this past Saturday. I am a medical professional for 40 years so I know the inside and out of how to treat patients and their families . My sister was addicted to pain medication before her diagnosis and therefore was "labeled" and treated with less respect because of her addiction That being said I went to one of her office visits and was not in the room for her exam so I ask to speak to him he came down the hall and very abrupt like I was taking up his time said " What questions do you have I am very busy" And preceeded to speak to me in a disrespectful tone , First off she did have addiction problem , second guess what she was our loved one , has a father ,son ,sisters ,brothers and friends. Say I am speaking out of grief , nope this happened more than a year ago and she changed to another provider that knew how to deal with families in a respectful manner. Of coarse before that we had a meeting to discuss our… concerns only to have to speak to the NP who thought she was better than us also . Shame on your provider and office which left a terrible impression on us ,there must be certain rules to follow to be treated in a decent manner because this provider thinks he is above and better than some ppl . I WOULD NEVER recommend this provider and am seeking to file formal complaint with Wellstar System and no again its not due to grief ,I know all the medical jumbo garbage that is tossed out to patients to manipulate their feelings or disagreements May our sister rest in peace and no thanks to this office

Very thorough doctor who explains everything, leaving you feeling secure. Treats patients as individuals versus a number or paycheck.

Dr. Hines is very friendly and a great doctor.

I had to see Dr. Hines in one of the darkest periods of my life. He and his staff handled my husband and me with such dignity and grace and walked with us surrounding us with love and prayers. He gave us direct information and answered all of our questions, whether we liked the answers or not. So thankful that I had a physician of his caliber as my surgeon.

This Doctor performed my Hysterectomy after I was diagnosed with cancer in 2004. I highly recommend him for his overall care from start to finish. Very nice and easy to talk to and understands my point of view. The whole office staff are great...

Dr. Hines is the best! Has a big heart for his patients and a wonderful bedside manner.
